Case Management & Advocacy
We offer a comprehensive, client-centered approach to coordinating and facilitating services for individuals and families with complex needs. Our advocates are dedicated to providing compassionate support. Some of our services for survivors of sexual violence include:
Holistic Case Management
- Coordination of personalized services
- Facilitation of client-centered services

Employment & Education Support
- Assistance with resumes and job searches
- Educational guidance
Comprehensive Support, Resources & Advocacy
- Assistance with basic needs (clothes, food, housing, bills)
- Emotional support and guidance
- Legal and medical accompaniment
- Connection with NM Legal Aid and NMILC
- Assistance with resource applications
- Help with CVRC (Crime Victim Reparations Commission) applications
Therapy & Support Groups
Licensed clinical therapists offer individual and family therapy to anyone affected by sexual violence, regardless of age or gender. Additionally, we offer support groups for survivors.
Holistic Therapy
- Therapy addressing psychological, emotional, and behavioral aspects of well-being.
- Support, guidance, and tools for a healthier and more fulfilling life.
- Available for children aged 5 and up to adults over 60.
Support Groups
- Support groups for parents, youth, and communication workshops.
- Safe and confidential support groups for survivors of violence.
- A space for empowerment, emotional support, and learning strategies for healing and rebuilding together.
SANE Unit Services
We provide immediate, compassionate, trauma‑informed care for sexual assault survivors in a culturally and linguistically specific setting, with bilingual advocates offering support and guidance every step of the way.
- Triage & Intake
- Medical & Forensic History
- Head-to-toe medical & forensic exam (SA Kit & photography)
- Pregnancy and STI prevention, including emergency contraception
- Testing referrals and follow-up care
Education & Empowerment
Our educational and leadership programs address gender violence, sexual assault, and sexual violence through a holistic approach that promotes empowerment, education, and community healing.
Through our initiatives, we drive meaningful change by fostering safe and supportive spaces that encourage healing, resilience, and self-determination.

Breaking Cycles
- Visibility presentations showcasing CF’s work.
- Educational presentations on consent, intimate partner violence, child and adolescent violence, human trafficking, and workplace violence.
Leadership Development
- A 40-hour training institute for empowerment and education.
- Ongoing commitment to leader development.
- Promoters engage in annual awareness and education activities and participate in biweekly meetings.

approach focuses on understanding their experiences, recognizing their needs, and offering respectful, empowering care that upholds their self-determination during their time of need.
Mission
The mission of Casa Fortaleza is to work toward the eradication of all forms of sexual violence through education and outreach while providing counseling, support, and empowerment to survivors in Central New Mexico.
